Did you know that when you go on a cruise, you have a great opportunity to make your big purchases before you get onboard? And what’s even better – especially for large purchases – we’ll give you an additional discount, if you do your shopping from Pre-Order webshop, before the trip. What are the shopping options, how exactly do they work and what are the benefits? Find out below.
All passengers can shop in ship’s stores. However, if you want to make large-scale purchases conveniently, use Tallink’s Pre-Order option. This way you don’t have to carry heavy shopping bags around the ship and you can use the time spent on the ship to eat something delicious or relax. In addition, there is no deposit fee for drinks purchased in bulk.
Since Tallink Silja routes have different ships in different directions and people also travel in different ways – on foot, by car and by bus. We will briefly show you exactly how the Pre-Order service can be used on different trips and directions.
Car Shopping Cruise:
- Cruise by car on Helsinki – Tallinn – Helsinki route, where you will not go ashore by car.
- Orders can be placed in the Pre-Order online store.
- When buying goods from Pre-Order online store for at least 500 euros, you will receive a 30-euro discount and 40-euro discount for purchases over 600 euro.
- The goods are handed over to the customer on the car deck on the Tallinn-Helsinki route.

Pre Order for one-way cars
- To use the service, you must have booked a trip in the Tallinn-Helsinki or Tallinn-Stockholm route.
- Orders can be placed in the Pre-Order online store.
- When buying goods from Pre-Order online store for at least 250 euros, you will receive a 15-euro discount and 25-euro discount for purchases over 400 euro.
- The goods can be picked up from the Pre-Order distribution point in the port area no later than 1 hour before the ship leaves for Helsinki or Stockholm.
Pre Order for passengers travelling on foot
- To use the service, you must have booked a trip in the direction of Tallinn-Helsinki or Tallinn-Stockholm.
- Orders can be placed in the Pre-Order online store.
- When buying goods from Pre-Order online for at least 200 euros, the customer receives a 10-euro discount.
- Goods will be picked up at the Supermarket 30 minutes before arrival.
Don’t forget that only those who have a ferry ticket in their pocket will benefit from the favorable offers of the Pre-Order.
