What is Tallink Pre-Order?
The goal of Tallink Pre-Order is to offer the passengers of Tallink ships a simple and comfortable shopping service.

In using the Tallink Pre-Order service, you can place an order for goods in the Internet, on board the Helsinki-Tallinn ship and in the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and sales point in the D Terminal of Tallinn Port.

For travellers with cars, fulfilling of the order (delivery of goods) takes place either on board the ship or in the Tallink Pre-Order Car delivery point, which is situated in Tallinn Port after the car check-in.

For travellers on foot, fulfilling of the orders (delivery of goods) takes place in the Western Terminal of Helsinki Port, which presupposes confirmation of receiving the order and indicating the time of trip from Tallinn to Helsinki, in the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and sales point in the D Terminal of Tallinn Port.


When can I place an order to Tallink Pre-Order?
In Internet, you can place an order between 30 days and not less than 24 hours before the start of the trip to Helsinki.
On board a ship from Helsinki to Tallinn, you can place an order at the Pre-Order ordering point at the ship’s information counter. Orders are accepted until half an hour before the ship’s time of arrival to Tallinn.
The customer’s booking for a return trip Tallinn-Helsinki is required for placing an order.
In addition to the Internet and the ship, orders can also be placed in the Pre-Order confirmation and sales point in the D Terminal of Tallinn Port from 10 am to 7:30 pm, bearing in mind that the order should be placed at least 2 hours before the start of the Tallinn-Helsinki trip.
The customer’s booking for a return trip Tallinn-Helsinki is required for placing an order.


What data do I need for placing an order?
For placing an order, you need the booking code for the Tallinn-Helsinki trip, name of the ship and departure time. In addition, you also need to state your name, phone number, street address and email address.


How can I pay for the Tallink Pre-Order?
Tallink Pre-Order orders are paid when the order is placed and confirmed. In the Internet, payments can be made either through bank links (Swedbank, SEB, Nordea) or by credit card (VISA, Mastercard).
With the bank links as well as with credit card payments, Tallink pays extra attention to the security of payments. In the case of payment links, we use an 128-bit SSL encrypted channel.


Will I earn Club One bonus points with Tallink Pre-Order purchases?
Yes – if you have entered your Club One card number when placing an order, you earn Club One bonus points.


How will I receive the ordered goods?
For travellers by car, the fulfilling of the order (delivery of goods) is done on board the ship or in the Tallink Pre-Order Car delivery point after the check-in at Tallinn Port.
The Tallink Pre-Order Car delivery point is open from 6 am to 10 pm. Goods are delivered from the Tallink Pre-Order Car delivery point from 10 am to 10 pm.
Customers can obtain detailed information about the precise location of their delivery (either on board or at the delivery point) from the staff of the Tallink Pre-Order Car delivery point.
Travellers by car need to turn to the Tallink Pre-Order Car delivery point at least 1 hour before the sailing.
Note! The fulfilling of orders for the sailing at 7:30 am is carried out on board the ship from 6 – 6:30 am. Goods will not be delivered later.

A traveller on foot is obliged to sign a goods transfer contract personally in the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and sales point in the D Terminal of Tallinn Port at least 1 hour before the start of the Tallinn-Helsinki trip, confirming his or her trip from Tallinn to Helsinki.
With this contract, the traveller on foot confirms his or her obligation to be personally present in the Tallink Pre-Order delivery point of the Western Terminal of Helsinki Port, prior to the Finnish customs control zone, to receive the goods ordered by Tallink Pre-Order.
Note! The delivery of goods in the Helsinki Port may take up to an hour!


What should I do if the time of the trip to Helsinki changes after a Tallink Pre-Order has been placed and paid?
⇒ If the date and/or time of the customer’s Tallinn-Helsinki trip changes, the customer has to notify the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and sales point personally (D Terminal of Tallinn Port, 1st floor, open 8:30 from am to 7:30 pm), or send an email to preorder@tallink.com, or call + 372 6 318 249.
⇒ If the Tallinn-Helsinki trip is changed to an earlier time than indicated in the original order, the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and sales point has to be notified at least 2 hours before the start of the new trip.
⇒ If the Tallinn-Helsinki trip is changed to a later time than in the original order, the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and sales point has to be notified at least 2 hours before the start of the original trip.


What should I do if the trip is cancelled altogether or if I want to cancel my Tallink Pre-Order?
If the trip indicated in the order is cancelled for reasons of the customer, the Tallink Pre-Order also has to be cancelled. To cancel an order, please call +372 6 318 249 or send an email to preorder@tallink.com
A cancellation should be made at least 12 hours before the start of the original Tallinn-Helsinki trip.
If the described conditions are met, the sum paid by the customer will be refunded to his/her bank account in full.


Can I obtain Club One bonus points from Tallink Pre-Order purchases?
You can, if you have registered your Club One customer number on the order before submitting the order.


What should I do if I have forgotten to indicate the Club One number on my order?
If the Club One number was omitted in the ordering process, you may still notify the Pre-Order service up to 48 hours before retrieving the order; the 16-digit card number is on the back of the Club One card. Provide the Club One number, and information about the order to find the right order at the PreOrder service. If less than 48 hours remain before the order is to be retrieved, the Club One number can no longer be registered with the order information.


I made a Pre-Order first, and then joined Club One. What should I do to obtain Club One points from my already submitted order?
The Club One number can be noted on an order retroactively, for up to 48 hours before retrieving the order. Provide the 16-digit card, found number on the back of the Club One card, and information about the order for you to find the right order at the Pre-Order service. If less than 48 hours remain until the order is to be retrieved, the Club One number can no longer be registered with the order information.
