Frequently asked questions


Tallink Pre-Order is a simple and convenient online store for Tallink ship passengers. There is no deposit packaging fee for the products purchased from the online store. Customers who have joined the Club One loyalty program earn bonus points for their purchases.

Passengers with a vehicle can place an order online at the Pre-Order online store 30 days to 24 hours before the departure. The goods are delivered to the passengers with a vehicle at the Pre-Order point of delivery which is located in the D-terminal area after the check-in for cars. For 7.30 am departure from Tallinn, the goods are delivered onboard.

Car Shopping Cruise passengers’ goods are transported to the ship's car deck for convenient loading. The goods are handed over on the way back after the departure from Tallinn. Car Shopping Cruise customers can enjoy a € 30 discount on all purchases over € 500 when ordering online. Detailed delivery instructions for different ships are included in the order confirmation e-mail, which you will receive after you have paid for the order on the website.

Passengers without a vehicle can order up to 70 litres of drinks. A service fee of 5 EUR per order will be charged. The service fee includes packing and delivering the goods to the delivery point on the ship. Passengers without a vehicle can enjoy a 10 € discount on all purchases over 150 €. Ordered goods are delivered to passengers without a vehicle at the ship's supermarket or Pre-Order delivery point. Detailed delivery instructions for different ships are included in the order confirmation e-mail, which you will receive after you have paid for the order on the website.

In addition to online orders, passengers with a vehicle can place orders for a limited selection of products on the ship of Helsinki-Tallinn line.

Passengers with a vehicle (both regular line passengers and Car Shopping Cruise passengers) and passengers without a vehicle can place orders online 30 days before, but not less than 24 hours before the departure from the port of Tallinn. To place an order, a valid ticket reservation for a Tallinn-Helsinki / Tallinn-Turku route or a Helsinki-Tallinn-Helsinki / Turu-Tallinn-Turu shopping cruise (Car Shopping Cruise) is required.

On the Helsinki-Tallinn route, passengers with a vehicle can place orders for a limited assortment of products both at the ship's information desk and at the Pre-Order ordering point. To place an order at the information desk or the ordering point a booking for a return trip from Tallinn to Helsinki or Turku is required. Ordering ends half an hour before the ship arrives in the port of Tallinn.

To place an order, you need a booking number for Tallink’s Tallinn-Helsinki, Tallinn-Turku, Helsinki-Tallinn-Helsinki or Turu-Tallinn-Turu routes. In addition, you have to provide your name (same as on the booking), telephone number and e-mail address. To collect Club One bonus points on your purchase, you must enter your Club One account number online before paying for your order.

Tallink Pre-Order orders are paid immediately after placing an order and confirming it. You can pay online either through Estonian and Finnish bank links or by credit card (VISA, Mastercard). Tallink pays special attention to the security of payments in case of both bank links and credit card payments. For payment links, we use a 128-bit SSL encrypted channel.

For passengers with a vehicle, the goods are delivered onboard the ship or in the Tallinn Port area at the Tallink Pre-Order delivery point, which is located after the car check-in. Information on the exact location of delivery of the goods (either onboard or at the Pre-Order delivery point) is provided in the order confirmation which is emailed to the customer after they have paid for the order online or given by the employee of the Tallink Pre-Order delivery point. Passengers with a vehicle must go to the Tallink Pre-Order delivery point at least 1 hour before the departure to receive the goods. To receive the goods, passengers with a vehicle must present a boarding pass for the Tallinn-Helsinki route.

Attention! Orders made for a ship departing from Tallinn at 7:30 am will be delivered onboard the ship between 6:00 and 6:30 am. The customer must arrive to the Tallink Pre-Order delivery point no later than 6:15. No goods will be delivered after that time.

Car Shopping Cruise passengers’ goods are transported to the ship's car deck for convenient loading on the way back from Tallinn. Detailed delivery instructions for different ships are included in the order confirmation e-mail, which you will receive after you have paid for the order on the website.

Passengers without a vehicle will received the ordered goods at the supermarket or Pre-Order sales point onboard the Tallinn-Helsinki or Tallinn-Turku routes 30 minutes before the arrival in the port of Helsinki. The passengers must present their personal identification document. Detailed delivery instructions for different ships are included in the order confirmation e-mail, which you will receive after you have paid for the order on the website.

If the time or date of the trip from Tallinn to Helsinki or Turku changes, the customer must notify the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and delivery point in person (send an e-mail to preorder@tallink.com or call + 372 6318 249). If your Tallinn-Helsinki or Tallinn-Turku trip is brought to an earlier time (than originally stated in the order), you must notify the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and delivery point thereof at least 2 hours before the new departure time.

If the Tallinn-Helsinki or Tallinn-Turku trip is postponed to a later time (than originally stated in the order), you must notify the Tallink Pre-Order confirmation and delivery point thereof at least 2 hours before the original departure time.

If the trip indicated in the order is cancelled for reasons caused by the customer, the Pre-Order order must be cancelled as well. You should notify of the cancellation of an order at least 12 hours before the departure of originally scheduled Tallinn Helsinki or Tallinn-Turku trip by phone +372 6 318 249 or by sending an e-mail to preorder@tallink.com. If the above conditions are met, the entire amount paid by the customer for the order will be refunded.

Yes. If you have entered your Club One account number when placing an order online, you will earn Club One points on your purchases.

Attention! The Club One account number must be entered when placing an order, it means before paying for the order.

If you forgot to add your Club One account number to the order, you can notify the Pre-Order confirmation and delivery point thereof (send an e-mail to preorder@tallink.com or call + 372 6318 249) up to 48 hours before the order completion deadline so that we can add the card details to the order. Please provide your Club One account number (16-digit card number on the back of the Club One card) and order information (order number, your name) to the Pre-Order customer service. If less than 48 hours has remained until the order completion time, it is no longer possible to add the Club One number to the order details.
